Lightspeed K Series to Viva Wallet setup

What it does:

This integration allows to pay lightspeed K Series orders with Viva Wallet with just a press of a button. 

Note: The integration does not work with the PAX (Paydroid) devices viva wallet terminal.

Supported Devices:

• Android devices (including Tap-on-Phone, Viva Wallet Contactless Terminal powered by Google Play, Viva Wallet Contactless Terminal with Professional Scanner powered by Google Play & Viva Wallet Contactless / Chip & PIN Terminal powered by Google Play)
• iOS devices

What you need:

• You need the viva wallet Merchant ID (can be gotten from

  https://developer.vivawallet.com/getting-started/find-your-account-credentials/merchant-id-and-api-key/)
• An account with ilglu
  • If you do not have an account please create an account through https://www.ilglu.com/register

Steps to create and activate the integration

How to connect to Lightspeed K Series

2. Create integration with ilglu

1. Login to ilglu (https://www.ilglu.com/login)
2. After logging in you will be redirected to the dashboard (https://www.ilglu.com/dashboard).

3. Find the Viva Wallet integration and press on 'Go to Glu'

   

4. To create a new integration press on 'Add New' at the top right.

   

5. Fill in the integration form as follows (note: All fields are required):
   • Integration Name: any name used to refer to your integration
   • Merchant ID: viva wallet merchant ID. Can be retrieved from https://developer.vivawallet.com/getting-started/find-your-account-credentials/merchant-id-and-api-key/
   • Viva Wallet Currency Code: Currency used within your viva Wallet account
   • Payment Method: Lightspeed payment method to be used when referring to viva wallet payments
   • Card Device Pairing (Enter terminal ID): List of viva wallets with their terminal ID
     • Press on add button to add another terminal
     • Device Name: enter easy identifier for your employees to identify the terminal
     • Terminal ID: enter the terminal ID linked with the viva Wallet device
       • Retrieved from your viva Wallet account

6. Press the 'Save' button to save the integration

   

7. Press the 'Enable' button to activate the integration and 'Add to my plan' to start subscription

   

3. Add web extension to lightpseed

Note: the web extension should not have a space as else it will not open the window. Make sure your Lightspeed payment method code does not have spaces

1. Copy the Web Extension link provided on your ilglu integration
2. Go to lightspeed > Configuration > Settings > Web extensions
3. Press of 'Add a new web extensions'
4. Enter any name, paste the link in the URLs field and tick the 'Provide a JavaScript context to the page to load' option.
5. Register the web extension
6. Go to Menu management > menus > select the menu to add the web extension
7. Select the main screen where the web extension button will be added
8. Press of 'Add a button' and choose 'Web extensions'
9. Find the extension you created and add the button
10. Refresh the back office from the ipad and the setup is complete

To pay using viva wallet from your lightspeed ipad find the button added. Press on the button. If you have more than one device select the device to be used and submit for payment
