Ilglu x Lightspeed K Series
Prerequisites:
Before starting the setup, ensure that the following requirements are met:
- Create an Account with ilglu: You must have an active account with ilglu. If you don't have one, visit https://app.ilglu.com to register.
- Location Setup in ilglu: Ensure you have a location set up within the ilglu system and that Lightspeed K Series is selected as the POS for that location.
- Live Account with Lightspeed K Series: You must have an active Lightspeed K Series account, fully operational and connected to your business.
Steps for Connecting ilglu to Lightspeed K Series:
- Login to ilglu
- Open the ilglu website and login to your account using your credentials.
- If you don't have an account, create one by following the registration process.
- Select Your Location
- Once logged in, navigate to the location settings section.
- Select the location that you want to connect with Lightspeed K Series from the list of available locations.
- Scroll to the Bottom of the Page
- Scroll down the page to find the connection section.
- Press on “Connect to Lightspeed K Series”
- You will see an option at the bottom of the page to “Connect to Lightspeed K Series.” Click this button to start the connection process.
- Input Your Lightspeed K Series Credentials
- A new window or page will appear prompting you to input your Lightspeed K Series credentials (username and password). Enter the credentials associated with your Lightspeed account.
- Grant Permissions
- After entering the credentials, ensure you tick all the permissions required to grant ilglu access to your Lightspeed K Series account. This is essential for a successful connection.
- Redirect to ilglu Dashboard
- Once permissions are granted, you will be redirected back to the ilglu dashboard or settings page.
- Select Your Business Location
- On the redirected page, select your business location from the available options. Ensure that this matches the location you've selected earlier.
- Press the Save Button
- After selecting the correct business location, click on the Save button to confirm the connection.
- Activate Reservations (Optional)
- If you wish to enable reservation functionality with your Lightspeed K Series integration, click the Activate Reservations button. This will enable reservation features for your location, which can be managed directly through ilglu. You will then need to add two buttons within lightspeed. Follow the instructions of part 1 from https://api-portal.lsk.lightspeed.app/guides/integration-guides/reservations/reservations-deposits
Finalizing the Setup:
- Once the above steps are completed, your ilglu account will be successfully connected to Lightspeed K Series. You should now be able to manage and synchronize the selected ilglu location with your Lightspeed account.
- If you activated reservations, you can begin managing and configuring reservation settings as required.
